Wegovy is self-administered by a subcutaneous injection in a pre-filled pen to the abdomen, thigh or upper arm once weekly. A different spot should be used every week.

The initial dose is 0.25 mg once weekly for four weeks. It is increased at four-week intervals to the recommended dose of 2.4 mg once weekly. 

Always use Wegovy exactly as your healthcare provider tells you to.
