In clinical trials, common side effects of Contrave include: nausea, headaches and constipation. 

Other side effects include insomnia, vomiting, dizziness and dry mouth. 

It is important to note that Contrave can increase blood pressure and heart rate. However, the cardiovascular safety of a combination of Bupropion/Naltrexone has not been established. 

Wegovy and Saxenda are a better choice in comparison to Contrave due to uncertainty about the cardiovascular side effects Contrave might have. 

Contrave could be an appropriate choice for you if you are obese and smoke and desire medication to help you stop smoking and reduce weight.
