Unfortunately, there is currently no medication that can completely cure MPB. However, there are treatments available that are able to reverse hair loss, or at least slow it. These include, but are not limited to, oral and topical medication, hair transplant surgery and laser therapy.
Among the treatment options available, finasteride is one of the most common one used by many and has been demonstrated in many studies to be very effective in slowing hair loss and stimulate hair growth.
